Mr. Katz has represented publicly traded, private companies, and financial institutions against former employees, employees against their former employers, and competing businesses against one another. During his career, Mr. Katz has served as first and second chair in a number of jury and non-jury trials throughout the country. Mr. Katz enjoys and has successfully represented clients in appellate matters before both State and Federal courts of appeals. In addition to traditional litigation, Mr. Katz is proficient in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. Mr. Katz also spends a good deal of time advising clients on how to best avoid or limit their exposure to litigation.
In his free time, Mr. Katz enjoys coaching Smyrna Little League Baseball, volunteering at Temple Sinai, and playing tennis in the K-Swiss and ALTA leagues.
